Kerry’s final submission video demonstrated her excellent self-reflection and how she has taken her learning into her practice.  She was receptive, attentive, interesting and fun, which meant she held the young person’s attention and was a lovely communication partner and playmate for them. 

A moment that was described as “an intimate moment without intrusion” by the Intensive Interaction Facilitator, was when the young person put their hand on Kerry’s chair as if he wanted to move her chair closer.  Kerry responded by putting her hand on the back of his chair.

A wonderful example of meaningful connection and interaction between a young person and a member of staff.
