Endeavour Curriculum

The Endeavour curriculum is shaped around each individual learner, supporting meaningful progress at their own pace.

Our curriculum is built around four key areas that support learners to build essential skills for life, learning and wellbeing:

As learners progress, they develop the functional and personal skills that support their preparation for ASDAN ‘Towards Independence’ modules, providing recognition of their achievements as they move towards adulthood.

Learners also engage in supported encounters with trusted visitors from employers, services and community organisations, providing developmentally appropriate exposure to the world of work as part of their preparation for adulthood.

Each area is broken down into smaller focus points that reflect the strengths, needs and learning profile of every learner.  This personalised approach allows us to create purposeful, engaging learning experiences that build essential skills gradually and securely.

Teachers work closely with families and professionals to plan and track the small but important steps of progress that move learners towards their EHCP outcomes.  The next pages of our website explain each colour-coded area in more detail, with examples and photos showing what this looks like in daily school life.
